To bookmark a website
so you can come back to it later,
follow these instructions:
- At the top of the browser select
and click
on "Favorites"
- Then click on "Add to Favorites"
- Then you can either just click "okay"
(which I NEVER recommend)
-OR- You
can click on "New Folder"
- Then... You name
the folder with a LABEL that you'll remember and which will make sense later. For example, "Entertainment" or
"Shopping" or the name of your business
- Then click "okay"
NOTE: There
will be a name for the website
in a little highlighted text box
when you do this, with the default name given to that page by the webmaster, and sometimes that name won't
make much sense.
You can delete that name and type in a new name for the particular website you are bookmarking that you will
more easily remember later. (I always do that because I'll look for things later the way my mind works, rather than
the default name somebody else uses.)
- Then click "okay"
again....
Now you have saved that web
page under Favorites in a FOLDER labeled with a subject name that makes sense to you, and with a webpage name which you'll
more easily understand when you go looking for that bookmark LATER!
When you want to visit that
web page again, you just click on "Favorites," then "Folder" name, then the "Website"
name.
They will be listed ALPHABETICALLY.
