My work background after graduating high school and one year of
college began with
being a Word Processor, to owning a home-based
typing service while home with my sons when they were very small,
and then leading to becoming a desktop publisher for a software
company and later a publishing company.
After my mother died in the fall of 2000, the next summer of 2001, I
decided to change my career path. More than anything, I have always wanted to work from home and
be my own boss, and I have managed to do so ever since then!
For quite a few years, I devoted myself to Internet marketing and affiliate
marketing (promoting the products made by others for a commission when I make a sale) via information-filled content web sites, blogs, etc.
I also occasionally offered simple web site design in the form of pre-designed
and personalized "lead capture pages"
which are used by network marketers (those in multi-level marketing [MLM] or direct sales types of programs), or
other types of small businesses, to generate exclusive leads for themselves.
Since August 2011 (in the Minneapolis, MN area), I have been offering a service that I sincerely
WISH I had thought of and begun at least 25 years ago -- dog walking and pet sitting! Because of my
deep love for animals plus my fierce attachment to being my own boss, this has turned out to be the BEST
